2025 Alumnae Scholarship Application

The AAPA Foundation will award $22,000 to collegians and alumnae this year. See eligibility requirements below.

DEADLINE:  Completed applications must be received no later than March 3, 2025

 

AWARD ELIGIBILITY

  • Alumna member of a sorority belonging to National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).
  • Member in good standing with local alumnae chapter, and this group must be an active member of AAPA.
  • Accepted in an accredited institution’s graduate program or accredited professional licensing program as a student for Fall 2025.
  • Legal residence in the Metro Atlanta area counties of Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Paulding, or Rockdale..

 

Completed application includes the following:

All attachments must be in separate Microsoft Word documents or PDF files and attached separately in the appropriate spaces below. Please ensure your full name is on all attachments.

    1. Application form with all questions answered.
    2. Current resume.
    3. Un-official college/university transcript(s).
    4. Document with the following listings:

A.) Scholarship / Academic Honors – Include educational goals and objectives. Describe current academic status and school. If currently enrolled, list honors and GPA. If not currently enrolled, list undergraduate degree and GPA.

B.) Sorority Alumnae/Panhellenic Activities – List your involvement with your sorority as an alumna, including collegiate chapter involvement and alumnae group leadership, Panhellenic positions, committee chairs, and honors/recognition. Note, if you graduated within the last two years, you may describe your collegiate chapter involvement, especially during your junior and senior years.

C.) Community Service – List any volunteer work, including names of organizations and your role, as well as any leadership positions and awards.

D.) Career – List and briefly describe your employment history (max 100 words).

5. Short Essay – Briefly describe what this scholarship would mean to you and any additional information you would like to share (max 100 words).

6. Two letters of recommendation are required:

1. One letter of recommendation from a member in good standing of your local Alumnae Group.

2. One letter of recommendations from a employer or professor.

        • Complete alumnae applications must be received by MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2025.
        • Winners will be notified early April.
        • Presentation will take place on Saturday, April 26 at Dunwoody Country Club.
